Past, Present and Proposed Regional Development Policies and Strategies in Thailand: the Mekong Basin (in English)
Close coordination of socio-economic development and development planning among the countries of the Mekong river basin is required both to maximize potential benefits to all countries and to assure that such development is environmentally sound. The establishment of common development goals and strategies among national participants in the Mekong Basin planning process begins with the articulation of national and regional goals and strategies for each country. This paper provides a review of regional planning policies, strategies, related national issues and public sector investment programs of Thailand.
